HALO Creative is a production company based in Finland, EU focused on documenting and helping others document the "world through frames."
HALO Creative focuses on bringing stories, brands, and creative ideas to life through visual content. Our challenge was to develop a visual identity that reflected both the studio's creative energy and professional capabilities.
The identity needed to balance creativity with credibility, providing a foundation that could support everything from social content and client presentations to future brand growth.
Finding the Through-Line
We explored a variety of visual directions... but they were all rooted in one common idea: "framing creativity."
As a production studio, HALO Creative exists to help shape, elevate, and bring ideas (big and small) into focus. This notion of the "frame" or "eye" became a recurring design principle throughout the exploration process, appearing in different forms, structures, and compositions across each initial concept.
The Strategy Behind the Logo
Before arriving at the final identity, a range of creative directions were explored to pressure test the brand from multiple perspectives. Each concept investigated a different aspect of HALO Creative's personality, visual language, and positioning.
The goal was not to generate options, but to challenge assumptions, uncover new opportunities, and ensure the chosen direction was the strongest solution for the brand.
The final HALO Creative identity emerged through a process of exploration, refinement, and strategic validation. By testing multiple directions against a shared conceptual foundation, the resulting system became more than a logo.
It became a flexible visual framework capable of supporting the studio across digital, social, and future brand applications.
